社团名称：

莉莉安生物王国/Lillian Bio Kingdom

社团简介：

“莉莉安”是HFI G10生物老师的英文名。为了表达对她的尊敬与感谢，经她本人授权后，本社团以她的名字命名，同时也表达了此社团的学术性。“王国”的英文“kingdom”，其在生物学中亦指“界”，有动物界、植物界、真菌界，等等，体现了生物世界的博大与丰富。

社团在未来将策划充实的学术与课外活动，并提供丰富的竞赛机会。希望同学们可以从中学习许多与生物相关的知识，并激发对于这门学科的兴趣与好奇心。

“Lillian” is the English name of a teacher in HFI who teach G10 Biology. With her authorization, our club is named after her, in order to express our respect and gratitude toward her, and also to show the academic nature of this club. Also, in biology, the term “kingdom” refers to the second highest taxonomic rank. In the world of living things, we have Kingdom Animalia, Kingdom Plantae, Kingdom Fungi, etc.. It shows how rich and varied the biosphere is.

社团活动计划：

本学期生物社活动安排丰富多样，分为学期初、学期中两个阶段开展。学期初将举办破冰分享会，内容包括生物学习方法分享（涵盖普高和AP课程体系）以及BBO&USABO竞赛经验交流。学期中将开展系列实践活动：生物水泥实验、生物社会学与公共健康主题活动、粗题DNA实验、DNA手链制作以及甲鱼解剖实验等动手实践项目。此外还将举办BIO CUP专题讲座并配套开展趣味问答竞赛，通过理论与实践相结合的方式，帮助社员全面提升生物学素养和实践能力。

This semester, the Biology Club will host a series of engaging events divided into two phases.
At the beginning of the semester, we will kick off with an icebreaker and sharing session, featuring:
-Study method discussions (covering both regular high school and AP Biology curricula)
-Experience-sharing sessions on preparing for the BBO (British Biology Olympiad) and USABO (USA Biology Olympiad)

During the mid-semester, we will conduct hands-on experiments and themed activities, including:
-Bio-concrete experiment (exploring biologically derived materials)
-Biosociology & public health discussions (examining real-world applications of biology)
-Crude DNA extraction experiment
-DNA bracelet crafting (a fun way to visualize genetic concepts)
-Soft-shell turtle dissection (an in-depth look at anatomy and physiology)
-Additionally, we will organize a BIO CUP lecture series, followed by an interactive quiz competition to test knowledge in a fun, competitive setting.

Through these activities, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of biology, enhance practical skills, and build a vibrant learning community!

由于学校并没有统一组织，Biolife决定负责登记选手信息并上交选手参赛费用至组委会。在11.30即deadline之前，Biolife将选手信息与费用上交，给选手更新实时信息。Biolife takes the responsibility of organizing events related to Brainbee in HFI. Before Nov. 30^th, the deadline of Brainbee registration, Biolife succeeded in turning in candidates’ registration information and fee, and updated recent news for the candidates.
